GOOD PLACES. GOOD PEOPLE. LET’S TALK.

Tell us about
your lovely place.

We’re building our Devon guide and welcoming enquiries from independent cafés, restaurants, shops, makers, creative experiences and characterful stays.

Features are paid editorial collaborations. Send a little introduction and we’ll come back with suitable options, pricing and what’s included. There’s no payment or commitment at this stage.

01 Tell us a little about your business.
02 We’ll check the fit and share the options.
03 Agree the feature, supply images, review the details.

We’ll use your details to respond to this enquiry. Privacy policy.

A FEW USEFUL THINGS

Before we say hello.

What sort of businesses are you looking for?

Places with character, thoughtful details and a clear reason to visit: independent cafés and restaurants, lovely shops, creative workshops, flower farms and distinctive stays. We welcome places across Devon, including Plymouth and Torbay. A strong visual story helps, but it is the whole experience that matters.

How much does a feature cost?

We’ll send the current options and pricing after reviewing your introduction. Your proposal will set out the content, placements, publication period and any additional promotion before you commit.

Do I need to provide photography?

Yes, please send high-quality images you own or have permission to use, along with the photographer’s credit and any restrictions. We’ll agree the selection before publication. Please do not send images copied from another publication.

Will the feature be labelled as paid?

Yes. Paid features are clearly labelled “Advertisement feature”, so readers can distinguish a commercial collaboration from an independent editorial discovery. We want the guide to feel useful and trustworthy.

Can you guarantee visitors, bookings or search rankings?

No. Near & Known is a growing publication, and we do not promise a particular audience size, ranking or number of bookings. The agreed package covers the editorial work and placements described in your proposal.

My business is already in the guide. Have I been charged?

No. The launch collection includes independently researched editorial discoveries, with no charge and no implied partnership. A paid feature is only created after we agree the work with you.
