A PLACE WORTH KNOWING
Make a little room for making
A welcoming creative hub in a Victorian school, with workshops in print, clay, textiles and more.
Art House gives a South Brent visit a creative purpose. Based in the Old School Centre, this not-for-profit hub has two light-filled rooms used for everything from printmaking and painting to pottery, willow work and dressmaking. The programme changes, so the best approach is to choose the activity first and plan your day around it. You might come away with a new skill, an unfinished project to continue at home or simply the pleasure of concentrating on something with your hands. Brushes, clay, prints and tables ready for people give these working rooms a welcoming, practical character. Check the individual workshop description for experience level, materials and booking details before you arrive.
