Exeter’s indie quarter has a particularly colourful sweet stop. Cake or Death began in Hackney before founder Katie Cross moved the bakery to Devon in 2021; the pink leopard print came too. The small team makes and packs its vegan brownies here, with flavours ranging from Biscoff to fruit-filled editions.
