An artist-run shop in Outer Hope, with paintings, pottery, glass and gifts by South Hams makers.
Hope Cove Gallery is a small, colourful stop for a coastal day with a little browsing built in. Local artist Allie Alpass runs the space, bringing together work by artists and makers from across the South Hams. The shelves move between paintings, ceramics, jewellery, glass and smaller pieces that are easy to carry home. The sea naturally finds its way into much of the work, but the interest is in the different materials and individual makers rather than a single souvenir style. This is also a working space for artists, which gives it a more personal feel. Find it in Outer Hope, then leave time for the village and coast after your browse. Opening varies outside the main season, so check before making a special trip.
