A PLACE WORTH KNOWING
Autumn colour, little bridges and tea in a wooded valley
A family-run garden on Dartmoor’s southern edge, with streamside paths, seasonal colour and a tea room for garden visitors.
Lukesland is a garden for wandering slowly. Water leads you through the valley: over falls, beneath bridges and into ponds framed by mature trees. The house appears between the planting, while the paths keep drawing you towards another view.
Children can follow the garden trail and explore the Sound and Story Garden. Afterwards, the tea room provides a natural pause. It is part of the garden visit, so plan this as a proper outing rather than a café-only stop.
