A PLACE WORTH KNOWING
From market stall to an East Street table
A bright independent café on East Street, with a long local story and a generous all-day food menu.
Zest began with a much smaller idea. After returning from Istanbul, Esther and Kemal sold Turkish ceramics, herbs and spices at South Molton market; coffee followed, then a permanent café, and eventually this larger home on East Street. The result is an easy place to settle over breakfast, lunch or a coffee while exploring town. Light comes through the front windows, plants soften the room and the menu offers plenty of choice for a mixed group. The story gives the place its character: an independent business that grew with its customers. Check the current food menu and Sunday opening pattern before making it the centre of your day.
