Janet Ventre’s mosaics bring bright colour and patient detail to a Cockington browse. Mirrors, pictures and smaller pieces show how fragments can become something with its own rhythm, from geometric borders to playful coastal subjects. Her studio is both a place to see the finished work and, when she is making, a chance to watch the process. Buying in person is particularly useful here: Janet prefers to avoid posting much of her work because it is heavy and fragile. Ask about a personal commission if you have a particular gift in mind.
