A PLACE WORTH KNOWING
Choose a handmade mug or make a little time for clay
A pottery studio with everyday ceramics, individual wheel lessons and bookable Raku workshops.
Tez Roberts’ studio makes a lovely bridge between browsing and doing. The shelves hold handmade ceramics for home and garden, with natural forms and landscape colours running through the work. A mug or bowl makes an easy reminder of a Cockington afternoon, but there is also the chance to give the day a creative purpose. Book a one-to-one wheel lesson, or ask about a Raku session in which you glaze and fire a supplied pot. The Raku course ends with a finished piece to take home. Studio visits and workshops have different arrangements, so contact Tez beforehand and leave room for a wander around the other makers afterwards.
