A PLACE WORTH KNOWING
Coastal paintings and ceramics beside the lifeboat station
Coastal paintings and ceramics beside the lifeboat station
A lovely little detour from Fore Street for anyone drawn to the sea. Tonic brings together original marine paintings and contemporary ceramics, with Devon’s coast providing plenty of inspiration. Greg and Charlotte Ramsden founded the gallery in 2015; its current home on Union Street puts a browse within easy reach of the waterfront. Look for luminous water, familiar coastal scenes and smaller sculptural pieces among the changing displays.
